Our adolescent learners are most successful developing of literacy skills when they are provided with experiences that are authentic and resemble the ―real world‖. Literature circles are a proven strategy for meeting the needs of diverse student readers that are akin to real discussions that real people have about books and ideas. This session will provide specific strategies, lessons, and resources for the development and integration of technology for literature circles as articulated in the Common Core State Standards.
