Read Me: Reading Strategies to Support Struggling Readers
Teachers, Grades 4-12
Help struggling students learn content and understand their world. This session will present research-based, classroom-tested strategies for engaging students in rigorous texts that are relevant to a discipline or content area. Participants will learn how to develop a classroom environment that supports reading for learning. Specific strategies support student comprehension of content-based texts.
