The Common Sense Guide to the Common Core
Administrators, Grades K-12/Teachers, Grades K-12
Some people call it Common Core—in reality, it’s common sense. This one-day session will improve educators’ understanding of the Common Core State Standards while guiding them through every stage of implementing them – in the classroom and across the curriculum. No matter where you are in the transition process, Katie will demonstrate valuable tools for gap analysis, lesson design and differentiation, addressing text complexity, assessment, and more. This session is based on Katie’s (2014) book: The Common Sense Guide to the Common Core: Teacher-Tested Tools for Implementation.
